BREAKING: Female Students Kidnapped As Bandits Invade Kebbi School

Bandits have abducted some pupils at Federal Government Girls College, Birnin Yauri, Kebbi State.

Details of the incident are still unclear however there are rumors that a security operative was shot dead during the operation.

Daily Trust is unable to independently confirm the death of a security operative.

Motorcycle-riding assailants are believed to have rushed the school from the nearby Rijau woodland.

They were claimed to have beaten up on the school’s mobile police officers.

According to security authorities, at least 30 pupils and three teachers were kidnapped.

This is the country’s third known school attack in the last three weeks.

Pupils were kidnapped from an Islamic school in Tegina, Niger State, on May 30.

Bandits kidnaped teachers and students at Nuhu Bamali Polytechnic in Kaduna State two weeks later.
