BREAKING: Court orders Orji Kalu’s release from prison
A Federal High Court sitting in Lagos on Monday ordered immediate release of former Abia State Governor and Senator, Dr Orji Uzor Kalu from correctional services centre.
The order was sequel to the application brought on his behalf by his lawyers led by Prince Lateef Fagbemi SAN.
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) did not oppose the application.
The trial judge, Justice Mohammad Liman consequently granted the application moved by Kalu’s counsel, Fagbemi.
