BREAKING: Bill blocking a no-deal Brexit passes through the first stage
The bill that seeks to block Boris Johnson from taking the United Kingdom out of the European Union without a deal has passed through the first stage of the approval process in Parliament.
This is only the first stage of the process. The second, more important vote is expected at 7 p.m. local time (2 p.m. ET).
