Breaking: Bauchi gov’s friend tests positive for COVID-19
A friend to the governor of Bauchi State, Governor Bala Mohammed has tested positive for coronavirus (COVID-19) in the state.
According to Dr Aliyu Maigoro, the state’s Commissioner for Health on Thursday he said the second case is a 62-year-old male and a close friend of the state governor,
The Commissioner said that 48 samples were taken for test and two have been confirmed positive.
He added that 37 others returned negative while the results of nine samples were still pending.

The commissioner noted that the State Ministry of Health has since begun the contact tracing of the second case.
