BREAKING: ASUP embarks on nationwide indefinite strike
Academic Staff Union of Polytechnics (ASUP) leadership has declared the start of an indefinite strike.
The union’s President, Anderson Ezeibe, made the announcement at a press conference in Abuja on Tuesday morning.
Members of the union have decided to close all Nigerian polytechnics before their demands are met, according to him.
This is amid the federal government’s efforts to prevent Polytechnic strike action.
