The Police council has announced Solomon Arase as the substantive Inspector General of Police.

The confirmation is coming shortly after the council of state meeting when the Police council met with President Goodluck Jonathan.

Arase, who spoke with state House Correspondents after meeting with President Jonathan pledged that no Nigerian would suffer injustice under his regime.
