BREAKING: 21 Commissioners, Senior Officials Sacked By Bauchi Governor

The State Executive Council has been disbanded by Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed.

Sabi’u Baba, the Secretary to the State Government; Ladan Salihu, the governor’s Chief of Staff; and 21 Commissioners and Special Advisers are among those affected.

In May, Delta State Governor Ifeanyi Okowa fired 25 commissioners, as well as the Secretary to the State Government, Chief of Staff Government House, Senior Political Adviser, and others.

He explained that the move was made to make place for new blood to help the administration achieve its goal of a stronger Delta.

Governor Hope Uzodinma of Imo State, meanwhile, fired 20 commissioners while keeping eight.

In May, Ben Ayade of Cross River fired four commissioners and five Special Advisers from his cabinet.
