Bago assigns portfolios to commissioners

Niger State Governor, Mohammed Bago, has assigned portfolios to commissioners who will make up the state Executive Council.
Among them were Aminu Suleiman Takuma, who will head the Ministry of Industries, Trade, and Investment; Hadiza Idris Kuta, responsible for Transport; Umar Yabagi, the Commissioner for Science and Technology; Phalal Mohammed Bako, the Commissioner for Rural Development, while Musa Bawa Bosso is the Commissioner for Agriculture.
Others include Yakubu Kolo, Commissioner for Environment and Climate Change; Dr. Hadiza Asabe Mohammed, Commissioner for Basic and Secondary Education.
The appointees are Bashir Mohammed Lokogoma, the Commissioner for Power and Renewable Energy; Dr. Bello Tukur, the Commissioner for Science and Tertiary Health; and Dr. Ibrahim Dangana, who will head the Ministry for Primary Health.
Additionally, Gen. Garba Abdullahi Mohammed RTD is the Commissioner for Homeland Security, Yahaya Abubakar Gwagwa heads Water Resources, Ahmed Baba Suleiman Yumu is the Commissioner for Humanitarian and Disaster Management, Suleiman Umar is the Commissioner for Works and Infrastructure, Ibrahim Mami Ijah serves as the Commissioner for Livestock and Fisheries. Hon. Binta Mamman is the Commissioner for Information and Strategy, while Muazu Hamidu Jantabo heads the Ministry for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs.
Furthermore, Barrister Maurice Magaji is the Commissioner for Lands and Survey, Lawal Maikano serves as the Commissioner for Finance. Umar Rabe Sanda is responsible for the Ministry of Nomadic and Pastoral Affairs, and Hajiya Titi Auta heads the Ministry for Women Affairs. Garba Sabo Yahaya is the Commissioner for Mineral Resources, Mustapha Ndajiwo is in charge of the Ministry for Budget and Planning, and Suleiman Isah is the Commissioner for Communication Technology and Digital Economy.

Hon. Abdullahi Umar is the Commissioner for Housing and Urban Renewal, while Hon. Abdullahi Adamu Mamagi oversees the Ministry for Tertiary Education.
Elizabeth Shaba heads the Ministry for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises, Fatima Adamu is the Commissioner for Culture and Tourism, Nasiru Muazu is in charge of the Ministry of Justice, and Yahaya Ibrahim Gulbin-Boka is the Commissioner for Sports and Youth Development.
