AWLO hosts prestigious induction & awards night, celebrating leadership excellence

The African Women in Leadership Organisation (AWLO) successfully hosted its Induction & Awards Night on Saturday, December 14, 2024, at the Continental Hotel, Abuja.

The grand event celebrated trailblazing leaders, honored excellence, and reinforced AWLO’s mission to empower African women and foster impactful leadership.

The event featured a distinguished lineup of dignitaries and speakers, including Dr. Linus Okorie (CEO of GOTNI), Adedayo Benjamins-Laniyi (Hon. Mandate Secretary, WAS FCTA), Mrs. Eno Attai (First Lady of AWLO), Mr. Fidelis Anosike (CEO of Daily Times), and Dr. Mrs. Aisha Achimugu (GMD of FELAK CONCEPT GROUP), among other notable leaders from around the globe.

Highlights of the evening included the induction of new AWLO members, the decoration of new Global Patrons and Patronesses, and the recognition of individuals making transformative contributions to Africa’s development.

The two-day celebration concluded with an Anniversary Thanksgiving Service on Friday, December 15, 2024, at RCCG, The Throne Room, Transcorp Hilton, Abuja, offering gratitude for AWLO’s journey and accomplishments.

AWLO expressed profound appreciation to attendees, honorees, and supporters for making the event a success, reiterating its commitment to advancing the cause of African women in leadership and driving meaningful change across the continent.
