ASEPA boss, Prince Apugo prays for childless couples
Childless couples have been advised to wait upon God for their problems to be a forgone issue.
The General Manager, Abia State Environmental Sanitation Authority ASEPA Prince Ikechukwu Apugo made this passionate in Umuahia after the dedication of his little Miss Onyinyechi Faith Apugo at Winners Church, Ihie Ndume Ibeku.
Speaking with the Abia Times on the occasion, Prince Apugo prayed God to favour those who are looking and waiting upon him for the fruit of the womb, stating that this will be the occasion for a marriage to be consummated.
The ASEPA boss, while expressing his joy, said God has done it again for him as it is not easy for a woman to carry the burden for nine months and deliver safely.
He thanked God for His mercies upon the life of his family and that of Prince Benjamin B. Apugo entire family, pleading with God to listen to the cries of his brothers, friends and relations who are in the need for the fruit of the womb for their joy to be complete.
The occasion featured a gathering of who is who in the country and beyond, including Ministers, members of the National Assembly, especially, Hon. Minister of State for Steel and Power, Mustapha Baba Shehuri, members of the Abia State executive council led by the Deputy Governor, Sir Ude Oko Chukwu, members of Abia State House of Assembly, LGA chairmen, and renown politicians, including serving and retired politicians.
Others include service chiefs, including that of the Army in the state, DSS, Police, Nigerian Security and Civil Defence, Navy and other security agencies and Zone 9 Police Public Relations Committee executives led by its chairman, Collins Obi.
Captains of industry, business gurus, professional associations and international merchants were not left out and state football managers, especially, Emeka Inyama of Abia Warriors FC, Umuahia
Who is who in the entertainment industry, including the renowned actor, Chinedu Ikedieze, popularly known by the movie name, “Aki”, Aliga Joseph and Magic Mouth.
The Abia State cultural troupe was there as well as other traditional and cultural dance groups including live bands and the Ibeku Egwu Asaa led by its President General, Princewill Ukaegbu and the Traditional Prime Minister of Ibekuland, Chief Uche Akwukwuegbu (BAWAS).
