Armed men abduct hotel manager, guest in Ondo
Some suspected gunmen have abducted the Manager of a popular hotel (name withheld) and a guest in the Akoko area of Ondo State. The two men were kidnapped along the Supare Akoko road in the Akoko South Wet Local Government Area of the state.
Daily Times learned that the guest was in the local community and decided to lodged in the hotel before his abduction.
A source in the community revealed that both the guest the hotel manager was dragged into a waiting care by the daring abductors.
On Monday, our correspondent gathered no contact has since been established with families of the victims since their abduction at the weekend.
Femi Joseph, the Police Public Relations Officer (PRO) in the Ondo State Police Command confirmed the abduction.
Mr. Joseph said the State Commissioner of Police has since given a red alert for the immediate rescue of the two men.
He noted that; although, the command has also begun an investigation into the matter with a view to arrest the gang of hoodlums who are behind the abduction.
The Police spokesman urged the people of the town to be clam and vowed that those behind the abduction will be made to face the law after arrest.

“So, we are already working on how to arrest the hoodlums who wants to turn the state into a den of kidnappers.
“Let me assure the family and friends of the victims that we shall get those who are behind this and bring them to book.
“The people of the community should also go about their normal business and should not entertain any fear because the police is on top of the issue”.
