APRA joins world leaders to mourn Kofi Annan

The African Public Relations Association (APRA) has joined the world leaders to mourn the passing away of a global colossus and true African icon, Kofi Annan.
APRA said by his death, Africa has lost one of its greatest brand assets who along with the likes of Nelson Mandela impacted heavily on the narrative for a more positive Africa especially in the face of contrived negativity.
It noted that in life and death, Annan remains an inspiration to Africans and the world at large. “His life is a challenge for everyone to always strive for a better Africa and indeed world”.
In APRA’s opinion there’s no better way to immortalize Annan and preserve his legacy, than for the African Union and nation-states on the continent to adopt and implement policies of human advancement in peace, good governance and people’s welfare which he stood for.
