Apple's Worldwide Developers Conference 2015 Scheduled June 8
Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) 2015 will be held in San Francisco’s Moscone West Centre from 8th to 12th June where it is expected to announce details of next operating system iOS 9.
The company used last year’s WWDC to launch iOS 8, making it a likely showcase for the new system. Further details on a revamped version of Beats Music streaming service and a spruced-up version of Apple TV are also expected to make an appearance.
WWDC 2015 is likely to feature presentations from chief executive Tim Cook, senior vice president of worldwide marketing, Phil Schiller and senior vice president of software engineering, Craig Federighi.
A beta version of iOS 8.4 was earlier released, featuring an all new Music application featuring a new MiniPlayer, improved Now Playing feature and streamlined iTunes Radio.
The company however, states that selfie sticks “or similiar monopods” have been banned from the conference centre and the Yerba Buena Gardens.
Developers have been invited to apply for tickets to attend the five-day event, while fans can watch the sessions from the comfort of their own homes via livestreaming.
