APM reps candidate begins house to house campaign

The House of Representatives candidate for the Alkaleri /Kirfi in Bauchi state federal constituency under the platform of Allied Peoples Movement (APM), Alhaji Mohammad Idris Jibrin has embarked on a house to house campaign, calling on voters not to be induced by money, wrappers, souvenirs and other gratification in place of their votes. Jibrin who stated this yesterday while interacting with journalists at the secretariat of the Nigeria Union of Journalist in Bauchi said, “we are going house to house to enlighten the voters and we told them they have to reject money Politics, it’s against the democratic tenets, if they insist collect the money and vote for a candidate of your choice. He urged voters to understand the antics of some Politicians who are bent on using money Politics to corrupt the system with a target to win election by hook or crook. The Reps candidate advised the electorates to teach such politicians a lesson by showing them that Money cannot buy their conscience and right to go for credible, reliable and competent candidates”. “If they win they will starve you because money Politics has been responsible for underdevelopment in all nooks and crannies of our dear state. You should understand that any public office that bribed his way to the office, instead for him to work for the wellbeing of the people he will be busy looting your treasury in the name of recouping his campaign expenditure and before they realize, their tenure has finish and the masses are the ones who will suffered the consequences”. Jibrin said. He said the moment money Politics and power drunk are removed from our Political System, the issue of corruption will be made history. Jibrin urged the electorates in Alkaleri and Kirfi Local government area to give him a chance to prove his worth, experience, reliability competence and trustworthiness. Jibrin who said, APM being a new party has its structures across all wards and polling units in the two local government areas expressed confidence that the people will support his candidature because they are tired of non-performance of APC and PDP now people will vote for quality and trustworthy leader. He lamented that there is no presence of government at all levels projects in all the wards and districts in the area and pledge to bring more developmental projects if elected.
