APC stalwart calls for Buhari/Osinbajo, Bindow re-election

As 2019 draws nearer by the day people with political interest have began to indicate their interest and wishes toward some people for God to actualise their dreams and prayers.

The organising secretary of Adamawa State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Alhaji Ahmad Lawal is one among thousands of other Nigerians who always seeks the face of God in intervening in the affairs of Nigeria.

Lawal told our reporter that these days he devotes his time in worshiping his creator (God) and pleading with him to intervene by bringing back President Muhammadu Buhari and his vice, Prof Yemi Osinbajo to do another four years in office after ending their first term in 2019.

His other prayers is for God to bring back the governor of Adamawa State, Senator Muhammadu Umaru Jibrilla Bindow to spend another four years in office as his two years in office so far has indicated that Adamawa can be a state of their dreams.

He based his reasons on the fact that the three leaders have many things in common which centres on total liberation of the Nigeria masses, noting that their trend of leadership is of focused on governance for the Nigerian populace.

According to him, if not because there are leaders like Buhari it wouldn’t have been possible for Nigeria known world over some few months ago as a country under the clutches of recession but now is liberated with manifold growth and economic achievements.

Juxtaposing that with how sectors of the economy was rocked down by previous administrations, but now working strong by gaining a daily momentum, he gave many examples including that the Customs was remitting an annual revenue of N3 billion before now, but that under Buhari’s regime the same Custom is generating revenue of over N200 billion in less than a year.

According to him, Adamawa State government have performed very well in terms of physical infrastructures more than any other that had ever been governor in the state.

Ahmad also noted that for the governor to focus his attention on the construction of roads across the state, he is aiming at boosting the revenue generation in the state.

Indices had shown that the state’s revenue is going up from what it used to be because of the development that’s going on in the state.

“Bindow is not only constructing roads but also gave his attention to Health and Education sector by declaring a state of emergency on both sectors with massive rehabilitation and building of classes, awarding contracts to companies in an effort to revive all the general hospitals in the state,” Ahmad said.

He also reiterated that Buhari and Osinbajo are the most honest Nigerians with no record of corruption ever leveled against them, pointing out that it is one of the reasons the anti graft mission of wading off corruption is more realisable.

He added that should there be any reason that Buhari will not contest in 2019 the only man that has the Buhari’s mentally to fight corruption is Osinbajo, and therefore should be given a chance to continue with the policies of transforming the country to a developed nation started by Buhari.
