APC Spreading Falsehood about Alao-Akala – Campaign DG
The Labour Party (LP) governorship candidate in Oyo State, former Gov. Adebayo Alao-Akala accused the All progressive congress of spreading falsehood about him
Alao-Akala in a statement signed by the Director-General, Akala/Alli Campaign Organisation, Dr Kola Balogun and made available to newsmen said Akala did not have any pact with the All Progressives’ Congress(APC).
He alleged the APC of spreading falsehood against him that he had stepped down for the party’s governorship candidate, Abiola Ajimobi and had been offered a ministerial appointment.
Alao-Akala urged the public to disregard such information as it was the handiwork of his opponents, who are afraid of his soaring popularity.
He said that he was much in the race and would contest the governorship seat on the platform of LP, adding that he would win.
Alao-Akala said that the people of the state would on Saturday, April 11 choose between economic prosperity, which he was known for or the anti- masses policies of the current administration.
He urged supporters and the good people of the state to vote the LP on Saturday for rapid transformation and economic prosperity of the state.
