The All Progressives Congress (APC) has, again, promised to alleviate poverty in Nigeria, if voted into power.

According to the vice presidential candidate, Prof. Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, who spoke at the 7th Annual Bola Tinubu Colloquium, the party had developed a programme called the Conditional Cash Transfer (CCT).

The programme, which would target about 25 million Nigerians, would pay participants a token of N5,000 monthly, if they enroll their children in schools and also partake in the immunisation programme.
