APC HOR aspirant urges party to resist imposition of candidate

As the 2019 General Elections draw nearer, a United States of America based aspirant for the Udi/Ezeagu Federal Constituency in Enugu state under the platform of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Chief Pascal Agubuzo has advised the party against imposition of candidates.
Agubuzo who gave the advice during his formal declaration at the weekend at Egede in Udi Local Government Area of Enugu state, said there was need for the party to ensure that all its candidates for the 2019 general election emerge through credible primaries.
According to Agubuzo, it will be counter-productive for APC to allow boardroom politics determines who emerges as party candidates.
“I am disposed to an election where all aspirants would go to the field to test their strength”, he said.
