APC Chieftain Partners Imo Govt On Security, Applauds Uzodimma’s Efforts
A prominent member and stakeholder of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Imo state, Barrister Success Akagburuonye has commended the Imo governor, Sen Hope Uzodimma on his giant strides and achievements in securing the state.
Akagburuonye, who is also a top contender in the coming Imo governorship election stated this in the aftermath of the inauguration of the 7000 member Imo state vigilante organisation by the state governor.
Governor Uzodimma had at the Rear Admiral Ndubuisi Kanu square inaugurated 7000 able bodied men to eradicate crimes and criminality in all communities of the state to underscore a renewed commitment to peace and stability in the state.
Speaking to reporters after the event, Barr Akagburuonye eulogized the governor on the lofty and laudable initiative adding that the new Imo vigilante organisation will further compliment the efforts of the police and other security agencies in the state in securing the state and it’s people.
While further commending Gov Uzodimma on the bold step towards permanently eradicating the challenges of insecurity in the state, he pledged to cooperate and partner with the government in securing the state using his self funded ‘Lion of Judea Security Network,’ a hundred man security organisation which he inaugurated on the 30th of November in his native Uvuru community in Aboh Mbaise local government area of Imo state.
Bar Akagburuonye explained that he undertook to create and fund the Lion of Judea in his conviction that no economy thrives under an unsecured environment adding that he was also disturbed by the state of violent crimes targeted at innocent citizens of the state, a situation he termed most unfortunate and highly disturbing.
He therefore pledged his support to the governor on his new drive in further securing the State assuring that the Lion of Judea Security organisation will be handy and available at all times to lend their support to the Imo vigilante organisation and other security organisations in the state in the fight against insecurity and other crimes.
The Lion of Judea which functions with imported hi-tech and sophisticated security equipment with over 6 hilux trucks operates within the Aboh Mbaise area and all parts of Mbaise and by extension, to compliment the efforts of other security organisations towards the protection of lives and properties of Imo people.
He stated that he is proud of the governor for his obvious triumph over imposed insecurity in the state.
