Anambra Youths March for Jonathan

Youths numbering about three thousand, on Tuesday, marched through major streets, in the Onitsha metropolis, urging their counterparts to obtain their permanent voter cards and vote for President Goodluck Jonathan, in the March 28 election.
At about 11 o’clock, in the morning, the youths, who had converged at the Chuba Ikpeazu Stadium, Awka Road, marched to Upper New Market and Old Market Roads and the Onitsha Main Market, through various parts of the commercial city, eulogising Jonathan and the need for continuity in office. At the ever-busy Old Market Road area to Ose-Okwuodu Market, the youths stopped at intervals distributing some leaflets, which contained some of the achievements of the president.
Traders and other market women, who could not endure the Jonathan musical jingles played on the musical van that accompanied the convoy took to various dancing steps.
