She noted that the state government and UNICEF have deemed it feett to educate children on effective hand washing to enhance healthy living.
According to her “the team of this year’s Global Hand washing is our hand our future.
“UNICEF is collaborating with RUWASA in educating the masses on effective hand washing because it will prevent hygiene related diseases. Our health was on our hand, it does not cause us much to wash our hands properly. We targeted children because they are agents of change.
Also speaking, the Transition Chairman of Idemili South Local Government Area Mr. Don Unachukwu who was represented by Mr. Edozie Maduabum said the programme is beneficial to the people because proper hand washing is very simple but very difficult for some people to know and imbibe on.
