Anambra people’ll vote for a man with pedigree –Commissioner

The Anambra State Commissioner for Education, Prof. Kate Omenugha, has said that she was convinced that the people of the state will vote for the man who has a pedigree.
Prof Omenugha said Governor Willie Obiano has something to show the people of Anambra state he has done for them in the past three and half years that will compel them vote for him.
“He has touched the lives of the people of the state. The report card shows he has done well, he has done very well. In the area of security, there was a time people moved about with security operatives in the state, people slept with one eyes open but under Obiano, things have changed for better” Prof Omenugha siad .
Governor Obiano, said the Commissioner, has attracted a lot of investments to the state because he created conducive environment for such investments to thive in the state.
She said that among such investments was Coscharis rice farm, which has helped boast the metric tons of rice produced in Anambra state from 80,000 to now 240,000 which she said has made Anambra state self sufficient in rice production.
Stating that all these successes recorded were borne out of deliberate programmes, Omenugha said in education where she presides, in 2017 report 75 percent of Anambra students who took O”level examinations got credit both in English and Mathematics, apart from the fact that Anambra state won the overall best teacher in the entire federation.
She said the number of child maternal death in Anambra state hospitals grossly reduced and that was because of the increased investment in hospitals in the state.
“No community is left out. Every community or town has at least N20million project. Some have N40million projects. He did not leave the market. He has N10m in every market in the state. His report card is 100 percent. That is what I scored him in many ways. He has touched the lives of the people” she said
