Amosun swears in Dipeolu as Ogun CJ

Governor Ibikunle Amosun of Ogun State has sworn in Justice Mosunmola Arinola Dipeolu as the new Chief Judge (CJ) of the state, charging her to discharge her duties without fear or favour.
Swearing in Dipeolu during the state Executive Council meeting, at the Governor’s office, Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta yesterday, Amosun said now that Dipeolu occupies a great seat in the legal profession and the state, the expectations from her are very high.
“This swearing in comes with a lot of huge responsibilities and more is demanded of you, knowing the status of Ogun State in the comity of states in Nigeria”, the governor stated.
A statement from the Commissioner, Information and Strategy, Ogun State‎ Otunba Dayo Adeneye said Amosun enjoined her to provide the right leadership for the Judiciary, to complement the other two arms of government, assuring of the independence of the Judiciary.
After taking the oaths of office, secrecy and allegiance, Dipeolu thanked God and the governor for the honour and privilege to serve the state and for believing in her.
“I will not disappoint the state, our forebears and my colleagues. I will not drop the ball and always keep the flag flying”, Dipeolu said.
