AMAA 2018: Organisers to host African cinema roundtable in Kigali

As organisers gear up for the 14th edition of the prestigious Africa Movie Academy Awards (AMAA), organisers have equally announced readiness to host African Cinema Business Round Table in Kigali billed to hold on October 19, 2018 at the Intare Conference Arena in Kigali, Rwanda.
With partnership with the American film distribution company, Smith Global Media, the roundtable will tackle issues such unlocking distribution the key to wealth for African distributors as key note discuss of the event as well meaning movie practitioners across Africa will be in attendance.
Revealing expectations from the coming roundtable, Martins Gbados, disclosed that speakers at the event will include the Chief Executive Officer of AMAA, Peace Anyiam-Osigwe and Will Smith’s younger brother and partner, Harry Smith.
Speaking on the partnership between AMAA and Smith Global Media, the event CEO, Peace Anyiam-Osigwe noted that the partnership will help African filmmakers map a new course in film distribution across the continent at large
