ALDI decries excessive security mobilisation for Ekiti poll

The Director-General of Atiku Leadership Development Initiative (ALDI), Hon. Dominic Nwuzor yesterday berated the Muhammadu Buhari-led federal government for excessively mobilizing security personnel for the Ekiti state governorship election scheduled for Saturday while failing to do same to curb the menace of Fulani herdsmen ravaging the North and Middle Belt regions of the country.

Nwuzor who stated this during the official inauguration of the group’s Exco in Abakaliki described the action of the federal government as a shame and a letdown on Nigerians whose lives and property it swore to protect against all odds.

Inaugurating the State Exco of ALDI, the Director General of the group who stated that former Vice President Atiku Abubakar was the answer to Nigeria’s problems described him as a detribalized and people-oriented leader that would reposition the dwindling economy of the country and give a face-lift to the nation.
