MTN Project Fame: Two contestants take a bow
The MTN Project fame season 9 is taking a gradual step towards the end as it proceeds to the third elimination show. The show was no exception as two contestants ended their journey in the competition.
It will be recalled that all 14 contestants were placed on probation last week hence it was revealed that Oluchi, Gabriel, Eli, Benjamin and Blessing had the least number of viewers votes and they were required to perform again in a bid to escape elimination.
Although the Judges and Faculty spoke highly of how the contestants put up a good fight as they performed, only three of them were able to escape elimination.
The Judges saved Gabriel, the Faculty saved Oluchi, while the contestants saved Eli leaving Blessing and Benjamin as the eliminated contestants. In their parting words, they both spoke of how much they appreciated the learning experience the platform provided them and promised to put the lessons learnt to a good use.
Blessing and Benjamin left the audience asking for more as they performed for the last time on the stage before they took a bow. Another performance that gave the audience this same feeling was the contestant’s group performance which featured a medley of some Naija’s most loved songs.
This musical Show that airs at 4pm daily, and at 4:30pm every Sunday on HIP TV promises many twists and surprises to its teeming followership in the next couple of weeks
