Adeleke to Osun citizens: I remain committed to serving you

The Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, has reiterated his commitment to serving the good people of the state, stressing that he will not be distracted from his vow to serve.

This is just as the Governor flagged off the dualisation of the 32km Ila township road and the dualisation of the Second phase of Osogbo- Ikirun – Ila Odo- Kwara State boundary.

Speaking at the flag off in Ila Orangun, on Monday, the Governor assured the residents of the state that no project will be abandoned, adding that his administration is pushing ahead with mega projects.

“I am glad that we are here today to flag off the dualization of the Ila Township road project despite the lingering uncertainties in the nation. I have vowed to my God and the good people of the State that I am committed to serving them, and I will never be distracted from my vow to serve the people of the State.

“My dear people of Osun state, while the first phase of the infrastructure projects is being successfully executed, today we are announcing the take-off of the dualization of the 1st phase of 3.5Km length of Ila Township Road, and this project will be delivered in 10months by the grace of God.

“As part of my government efforts to open up Osun state through road infrastructure, I have also approved the rehabilitation of Ila- Ora- Oke Ila road.

“We are determined, and we are pushing ahead with the mega projects. I assure the public that our administration will not leave any project uncompleted,” Gov Adeleke said.

In the same vein, the while addressing residents in Ikirun, said, “It is believed that the completion of the dualization of Osogbo – Ikirun – Inisha – Okuku – Ijabe and finally Ila Odo, which is the boundary town with our neighbouring Kwara State, a total length of 39km is of paramount importance to this administration, and I am committed to the completion of this project by the grace of God.

“The second phase, which we are flagging off today, is almost the same length as what was completed in 12 years. By the grace of God, we intend to deliver this project within 12 months,” he added.
