Adamawa govt to settle medical bills of victims of Mubi bomb blast, Numan killings’ survivals
Governor of Adamawa State, Senator Muhammadu Umaru Jibrila Bindow has directed that medical bills of all the Mubi bomb blast victims and the survivors of the killings in Kikon/Shafuron communities of Numan local government areas be settled by government.
Bindow made this pronouncement when he paid a visit to survivors of the bomb blast that rocked a Mosque in Mubi Town, killing many worshipers and injuring scores, early morning of Tuesday.
Sen Bindow who was not adept at containing is emotion, was taken round the wards to commiserate and pray for the victims. Among them were children and adults with various degrees of injuries.
He told journalists in an interview that his administration is doing every thing possible to ensure peace and harmonious coexistence among communities.
According to him “Adamawa State is well known for peace and hospitality and wandered why some bad elements are hell bent in making life unbearable to the entire people of the state.”
A closed door security meeting was convened and in attendance were traditional rulers, community leaders, political appointees, Nigerian Army Brigade Commander, representative of the State Commissioner of police and relevant stakeholders.
