A popular Nigerian activist and convener of Concern Nigerians advocacy group, Deji Adeyanju, has explained why the Governor of Kaduna State, Nasir El-Rufai should be elected Nigeria’s President for four years.
Adeyanju made this known on his twitter handle on Tuesday, September 1.

“He will build prison in every LGA. If you dare ask him why he is short, you will enter prison,” Adeyanju tweeted.

Daily Times had reported that El-Rufai had said that the next general elections in 2023 should produce a president from the Southern region of Nigeria.
El-Rufai said this last month in an interview with the BBC Hausa Service as published by The Cable.
He explained that since the Buhari is from the North,he would likely not support a northern candidate for the presidency in 2023.
According to him, the idea of zoning the presidential seat is necessarily not constitutional, but is based on the country’s political arrangement which he believes should be respected.
