ACD governorship candidate lauds INEC , security agencies for peaceful election conduct
The governorship candidate of Advance Congress Democrat (ACD) in the just-concluded Anambra State governorship election, Mrs Oby Okafor has commended the INEC and the security agencies on the peaceful conduct of the election in the state .
Mrs Okafor who made the commendation while briefing Journalists on the outcome of the election in Awka observed that no life was lost during the exercise upon series of threats against the poll.
Mrs Oby who is also the chairman of the party, said INEC lived up to the expectations of the people of the state in particular and Nigerians in general.
The governorship candidate who congratulated governor Willie Obiano on his victory at the poll, urged him to carry everybody along in the process of governance, especially the women.
Mrs Okafor called on all the people of the state to rally round governor Obiano to enable him to provide the required amenities to the people of the state as the victory belonged to them.
