Where is Abu Ali Jibia?

What is happening to this one time Oil and Gas big boy Ali? Is it that, his lavish lifestyle, before he was caught in the act by EFCC still hunt him? These are rhetorical questions begging for answers as the cool dude disappeared into the thin air.

He was once the toast of many social gathering as his name span across the nook and cranny of this country as a socialite and a philanthropist.

Meanwhile, it was gathered that, the dude met his waterloo when he and some 10 others were arrested by the EFCC and charged to the Federal High Court in Lagos, under Justices Mojisola Olatoregun, on, charges like;

Unlawful dealing in Automated Gas Oil (A.G.O) known as Diesel, Conspiracy, Unlawful distribution of Adulterated Petroleum Products among other charges.

While he was struggling to exonerate himself from the misfortune, Abu Ali’s company vessel MT Swordfish, worth Millions of dollars, was confiscated by the EFCC.

According to sources closed to him, at first Ali was not under pressure when he was arrested, because, he had the backing of some strong godfathers whom he thought would come to his aid until reality dawned on him when the case took a new twist and got more complicated.

During his trying times, it was said that his close friends deserted him, those he rendered assistance for never took out time to see him at the EFCC net. Abu has learnt his lesson the hard way and ever since opted for a low-key lifestyle.
