About Yayi’s Omnipresent Army     

If you are a close political watcher, you will agree that Lagos West APC senatorial candidate, Adeola Olamilekan Solomon popularly known as Yayi, is one aspirant who is leaving no stone unturned in his bid to represent his constituents at the Upper chamber. Not only are his posters in every nook and cranny of Lagos state, the robust politician doesn’t miss an opportunity to express his desire to go to the senate at any gathering he finds himself. Also the manner with which he doles out money and other relief materials to woo voters is a story for another day. He recently got people talking when he beefed up security around him with hefty looking bodyguards who now restrict the politician’s level of personal interactions with members of his constituents. His reason for this isn’t farfetched. Not too long ago, his campaign office was vandalized by unknown thugs who went as far as shooting sporadically on the day of the attack. Even though a few bullets and pellets were recovered in his office during investigations, prompting many to assume that the perpetrators would be fished out soon, nothing was eventually done, making the aspirant to take his personal security more serious.
