Abia APC declares ‘No victor, no vanquished’

The All Progressive Congress (APC), in Abia, has inaugurated its state working committee with the maxim “No victor, no vanquish”, but with a determination to sack the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), in Abia.
Addressing party faithful after the swearing in, Donatus Nwankpa said there is no victor, no vanquish, no quarrel but “agitation for power”.
“The quarrel did not undermine the objective of APC in Abia, but working towards taking over Abia State”, he said, and called for the understanding as his doors are open.
Nwankpa however apologised over the struggle for leadership in Abia APC.
He said change must come to Abia as “the era of squandermenia is gone. We will bring a change in the psychological orientation of the Abia people”.
He called for conscious criticism and not bitterness and rancour, pointing out that the agitation for power in Abia APC was between brothers.
Nwankpa said the party in Abia will support President Buhari and give him the vote he needed to win, stating that APC will produce Igbo Presidency, come 2013 as the President has shown commitment to the country, while the party has the best international conflict resolution mechanism.
“In the course of the struggle, whoever is bruised should forget and come for reconciliation. The party will no longer tolerate the mistakes of the past, we want discipline”, Nwankpa said assuring that the SWC will not abuse the mandate given to them by the party.
Speaking with newsmen after, an APC stakeholder, Maduako Adighibe said the party in Abia is not factionalized, advising party agitators “to come and stand in one unity of change”
Otherwise known as “Ijere”, Adighiobe advised Nwankpa that if the party fails or succeeds, it is in his hands as the arrowhead, stating “we will give him every support he needs”.
According to the state Publicity Secretary o the party, Comrade Ben edict Godson, the party has been repositioned to capture Abia and will be leaving no stone unturned to make the party strong in the state.
The state SWC includes Barr Patrick Okorie, Secretary, Dr. Mrs. Ori Obasi, Woman Leader and Chibueze Apugo, Youth Leader, Comrade Benedict Godson is the state Publicity Secretary, while Donatus Nwankpa still remains the state chairman.
