A review on Vivilevard 2022 collection -C- suite signature
In this present time, where exuding class is one of the leading criteria for being at the top, what do you think is the best way you can portray this to the world? The answer is simple: Executive fashion or what we like to call the C-suite signature.
With social media being the chief disperser of current news, you must have heard quite a lot about fashion: trendy wear, chic wear and even the doozy attires. However, Executive fashion is a bit different from all the others. Yes, they are still trying to maintain trends.
Still, they also aim for something more, which is portraying the wearer in a more polished appearance and enabling them to emit an executive presence wherever they are. Because of this, it is unsurprising that many C-suite pieces take the crown in the corporate world today.
The corporate world is very fast-paced; therefore, you may only get one opportunity to make a lasting impression.
Then imagine that for a second, you do not necessarily have to do any talking to achieve that. What if how you look does it for you? Wouldn’t that be a big win?
That was one of the ideas conceived when Vivilevard launched their 2022 collection, Grandeur. Vivilevard is an Accra-based ready-to-wear clothing brand that creates not only affordable but also functional and fashionable pieces for women globally.
Vivilevard is a brand that is passionate about creating an eco-friendly future for the world and committed to creating colourful and timeless garments that infuse both style and efficacity in a way that speaks to the needs and lifestyles of modern women. From basic wear to more elaborate designs, each outfit is carefully made to add class and simplicity to every woman’s wardrobe and enhance their style.
The brand was established in 2019 by Victoria Asamoah, an exceptional garment designer and stylist. Her works have been showcased at various fashion events, including Accra Fashion Week (AFWK), African Project Runway, and Ghana Fashion Fair. Her expedition in the fashion industry initially started as an image consultant before transitioning shortly after into fashion design.
One of her greatest inspirations for starting that brand was to be able to cater specifically to black or brown-skinned women like herself who have unconventional body proportions. And now, three years down the line, Vivievard has expanded so much that they have been able to reach multiple customers in over 30 countries with their worldwide shipping. Furthermore, they also engage in small-batch sourcing to ensure quality and avoid overproduction. This has not only drastically reduced fashion waste but also decreased the negative environmental impact of the fashion industry.

A review on Vivilevard 2022 collection -C- suite signature
The 2022 collection, Grandeur, is proof that Vivilevard keeps striving to live up to its excellent reputation in the industry. The collection is a duet set of two corporately classy attires that are just to die for.
The very first of the cooperate compilation is a two-piece comprising of a bogus ruffle top and a wide-leg pant. The blouse takes a round neckline at its introduction, spanning down to the shoulder blades, where the design gets even more interesting.
The shoulder line holds a gargantuan ruched ruffle held together by a thick rope. This was a feature added to the fit to ensure that it is firmly seated when worn. Following that unique attribute is a balloon sleeve, also known as a puffed sleeve, which is achieved through large gathers of fabric on the sleeve line. The length of the piece also gives a touch of ‘something different’ to the entire look. The blouse stops at mid-thigh, which can almost pass it off as a mini dress.
The white floor-length wide-leg pants can be likened to current-time bohemian or boho pants. It is a loose and relaxed fit that guarantees comfort when worn. Similarly, these Vivilevard Grandeur pants have just the right volume that ensures comfort but at the same time ooze that professional aura. As a result of the nature of the design, an invisible zipper was added at the back of the pants to certify that it is fastened firmly.
The combination of the blue and white French crepe used in designing is very aesthetical and simple, which is one of the best ways you can appear in a corporate environment. Additionally, the length of the blouse makes it easy to style in many unconventional ways, as seen in the image, which fits the taste of the present generation. However, the blouse is packed with multiple designs that are distracting. The designer might want to consider picking between making the dress simply an off-shoulder piece or reducing the volume of the ruched ruffles in such a way that it doesn’t outshine all other designs made on the set.
The second set shares kindred with the first of the collection. It also consists of two pieces: wide-leg pants and a cropped top. The wide-leg pants, which can be correlated to palazzo or culotte trousers, are made from chrome grey Crepe de Chine fabric. The fit is a high waist bottom with features of a thick waistband, two inseam pockets at the front and a side zipper for ease and firmness.
The cropped top is made out of white cotton elastane, which is a stretchy but comfortable fabric. The cropped top is characterised by what is called a turtle neckline or a polo neckline. What we find fascinating about the top is the slitted sleeves, an attribute that is also very unconventional in cloth making.
What distinguishes the slitted sleeve of this piece from all others is the perforated holes coupled with iron eyelet accessories that can be found at the bottom half of the sleeve. This characteristic allows the dress to have a wide range of styling, depending on how much the wearer is willing to explore.
To round off the look, the designer included a toothed zipper to give the outfit the perfect fitting and closure.
This second attire has the perfect combination of colours, which allows both its pieces to shine, respectively. It is interesting how the designer was able to merge components of modern trends into the corporate appearance.
The simple designs also make the apparel look satisfactory. It also deems any form of distraction and gives the fit a sophisticated aura. The only downside of the look is the finishing, and this is a significant detail the designer might want to pay closer attention to, especially on the blouse.
Seeing as the lower part of the sleeve is slit, the allowance on the inside shouldn’t be spotted the way it is; rather, the designer can settle for weaving the ends so that it appears neat and also save the dress from slowly shredding due to the cut lines.
These two captivating sets can be styled in many ways, especially because of the ‘separable’ features they both possess. The most valid suggestion when it comes to wearing a duo attire like these is mixing or pairing them with other outfits that will also complement their look.
This makes it easier to change up your look every once in a while. Also, getting the right accessories is another pointer in getting the signature look you desire with this collection. An additional advantage to this collection is that it is fit for all kinds of occasions, whether formal, informal or casual.
Overall, we must say Victoria Asamoah did a splendid job with these two sets. The designs are a testament to her remarkable skill and expertise in the industry. Fusing contemporary trends and a sense of professionalism, she was able to achieve this C-suite look that would keep tongues wagging for a long time to come. Through this collection, Victoria Asamoah has successfully placed her brand, Vivilevard, in the limelight as one of the most impactful pacesetters in the fashion industry.
We earnestly look forward to observing more of Victoria and her brand. Judging by what we can already see, we know we should expect nothing less than the best from her and Vivilevard. If you agree with us, stick around to keep yourself up to date with the hottest and latest fashion trends in the industry.
