Over 40,000 Adamawa traders receive FG’s ‘Traders’ Moni’

The national enumerator of the Federal Government enterprise and empowerment programme, Mr Ignatius Gabriel has revealed that over forty thousand traders received ‘Traders Moni’ in Jimeta, Adamawa state.
Gabriel stated that the programme is aimed at encouraging innovative business ideas for people that need small capital.
The programme was launched yesterday at Jimeta Modern Market of the state capital, and he assured that the programme will be extended to all the 21 LGAs of the state in the shortest possible time.
According to him, everyone that filled a form will automatically receive an SMS notifying him of N10,000.00 being credited to his or her account, else one has to show prove of SMS to have his cash handy.
He said the money is payable after six months with N430 as a weakly remittance with a reimbursement of additional N15,000.00 when a trader has fully paid back the loan.
The increment of the loan will finally grow to N100,000.00 if traders are committed to receiving and paying back the loan.
The National programme Manager, Taiwo Akorade further said that the programme was designed by the President Muhammadu Buhari led administration to revive the country’s economy and does not have a specific end time.
One of the beneficiaries, Mallam Ahmad Adamu, a cosmetics trader lauded the programme, saying it will grow his business in six months.
Adamu boast that in six months he will definitely get much gain and advise small business owners to fill the form for their business to grow.
He called on traders to be faithful in paying back and desist from defaulting as it’s the only way the economy of the country to grow.
