3 robbers killed in Umuahia
Three armed robbers disguised as touts “Agboro” at Abia Tower between Okigwe and Aba Road in Umuahia, Abia state met their waterloo on the early house of Monday.
The three robbers as early as 5:30 am stopped a commuter Bus returning from Okigwe to Aba, at the Okigwe Road, near NNPC mega filling station, by Nkwoegbu road, commanded everybody to come out and lie down, without knowing that one of the passengers was a soldier, with a Pistol.
The soldier delayed, loaded his gun as he was coming down and shot two of the robbers who were armed, the third one ran away, but unfortunately for him, he was shot on the leg , while the other two robbers were already dead from bullets pumped in their chest.
