22 Super Eagles train in Asaba ahead Bafana clash

The Super Eagles of Nigeria stepped up their preparations ahead of Saturday’s 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying fixture against South Africa with 22 players taking part in Tuesday’s training session.France based winger, Samuel Kalu is the only player being expected in camp.
Tuesday’s training session took place at the Stephen Keshi Stadium, Asaba.Seven players took the gym on Monday to prepare for the game, while 15 others linked up with their teammates on Tuesday.
The Super Eagles are expected to train twice on Wednesday at the Stephen Keshi Stadium.
The players and their officials, will fly straight to Johannesburg on Thursday evening from Benin City airport aboard a Max Air chartered flight.
They will have a feel of the FNB Stadium Johannesburg on Friday, a day to the highly anticipated encounter.
The Super Eagles are top of Group E standings in the 2019 AFCON qualifiers with nine points – one point ahead of South Africa, while Libya are on four points and Seychelles have one point.
