The Senator representing Ebonyi Central zone at the National Assembly, Senator Kenneth Emeka Eze has received endorsement from his constituents of the Senatorial District as the leading contender for the 2027 senatorial election.

This, they did following the Senator’s outstanding performances and strong grassroots developmental strides within the year under review.

The endorsement came during the continuation of the 2025 Oke-Aku (new yam) festival held on Monday at his country home in Ohainya Amagu, Ezza South Local Government Area of Ebonyi State, where over 1,000 farmers were empowered with agricultural inputs.

The event attracted a cross-section of stakeholders including traditional rulers, political leaders, youth groups, and community members across the senatorial zone.

Senator Eze, who represents Ebonyi Central in the National Assembly, distributed over 1,000 bags of certified rice seedlings, 2,000 bags of fertilizer, herbicides, improved seeds, and livestock.

The initiative was in line with the Federal Government’s Renewed Hope agenda and Governor Francis Nwifuru’s People’s Charter of Needs, aimed at improving food security and rural livelihoods.

Speaking at the event, HRH Eze Oliver Eze Awoke Omaka III of Ekka Awoke Ancient Kingdom declared Senator Eze’s second term “non-negotiable,” citing his visible and consistent developmental efforts.
