2019: Group rallies support for Atiku, urges Nigerians to acquire PVC

A group, Atiku Mandate 2019, has said that only the former Vice President, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar can savage the country out of its current doldrum and return it to an enviable position among committee of nations.
In a release by the South West coordinator of the group, Chief Lekan Lawal, it said that only Atiku is the solution that could alleviate the suffering of Nigerians and give hope to the oppressed masses.
The group said its decision to support the former Vice President’s political ambition was because of his pedigree as a philanthropist, humanitarian and his ideology and passion for the country, adding that given the chance he remain the only solution to the leadership crisis in the country.
In the release, the group told Nigerians that the time to sit and complain was over, while charging them to register and acquire the Permanent Voters Card (PVC), so they could exercise their civic responsibility and be involved in decision making.
He said “Fellow Nigerians, this is new political order to support Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, the Turaki of Adamawa and former Vice President of Nigeria. The man with a broad mind, wisdom, a constitutional fighter who is well passionate about our great country.
“The reality of his antecedents gear us up to pull out our formidable structure in all the six geo-political regions in the 36 states in Nigeria including FCT to support Atiku Abubakar, where ever he pitched his tent even if he is ready to go as independent candidacy.
“Our alignment for Atiku is also based on his ideology, philosophy, ethical approach to governance, above all his ability to nip in the bud the ravaging poverty in Nigeria in all sectors is unparalleled and if given the mandate through the in ballot 2019.
“This group imploy all Nigerians to go and register, posses your PVC card, it’s your instrument not to mortgage your future. Have it in mind that the days of sitting down on the fence to complain about bad governance and electioneering impunity are over,” the statement said.
