2019: Female aspirant promises purposeful representation in Bayelsa

A female aspirant vying for Ekeremor constituency 1 seat in the Bayelsa state House of Assembly, under the Peoples Democracy Party (PDP), Barr. Tari-ere Gita Joyce, has promised purposeful and effective leadership, if elected in the forthcoming elections.

Tari-ere a Yenagoa based lawyer and a grass root mobiliser under the Restoration led government of the state, said her motivations is borne out of the need to reduce the poor leadership bedevilling her constituent.

She stated this while addressing party faithful, women, youths and the huge supporters at the PDP Secretariat at the weekend after summiting her intent nominations forms.

The aspirant further pledged to address the sufferings of the people by making good legislations that will enhance dividends of democracy.
