2019: Bayelsa Speaker finally bows to pressure, picks Reps form
The Speaker of the Bayelsa State House of Assembly, Hon. Kombowei Benson, has finally bowed to pressure by withdrawing his bid to run for a 4th term at the State House of Assembly and picked the form to run for the Federal House of Representatives seat of Southern Ijaw Federal constituency of the State.
Speaker Kombowei Benson by the decision is running to replace Hon. Henry Ofongo as member of the House of Representative from Bayelsa.
Our correspondent gathered that Kombowei Benson, who is considered the anointed aspirant of the State Governor, Hon. Seriake Dickson, bowed to pressure after series of protest from stakeholders from his constituency.
