2019: Ayogu Eze set to unveil guber ambition

Senator Ayogu Eze has said he would soon unveil his plan for the 2019 general election. Eze who is rumoured to be nursing ambition to become Governor of Enugu State stated this on his arrival at the Akanu Ibiam International at the weekend in Enugu.

He said his development plan will usher in peace and progress into the state.

“We will unfold our direction and that direction will usher in peace and progress in Enugu State, and usher in development unprecedented”, he stated.

Eze who recently moved from Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to All Progressives Congress (APC) thanked his supporters who trooped out enmasse to welcome him.

“I want to thank you for coming out and please let us not look for trouble because Enugu is not known for making trouble.

“Conduct yourselves peacefully and after today we shall very soon have another opportunity where about 50, 000 to 100, 000 of people will gather to show that there is fire burning in our belly towards our people and to corporate among ourselves for the purpose of Enugu state”, he said.

Ayogu Eze a two-term senator represented Enugu North Senatorial Zone under the PDP between 2007 and 2015 and contested the PDP governorship position in 2015.

Among dignitaries who accompanied Senator Eze is the chairman of the party in the State, Dr. Ben Nwoye and a host of other party chieftains.
