2019: APC women admonished on active participation
The wife of former Governor of Bayelsa state and leader of the All Progressive Congress (APC), in Bayelsa state, Mrs. Alainyingi Sylva, has urged Bayelsa women and female members of the opposition party in the state on active political participation in the forthcoming elections in the country.
She stated this while addressing women on Thursday at the APC Inaugural/Strategic leadership meeting, at the party’s secretariat, Yenagoa.
Mrs. Sylva stressed the need for women to take up leadership positions in their various sphere of contact, adding that the training workshop will help build the leadership consciousness in the women.
