The National Hajj Commission has allocated about 1,587 seats to the Muslim faithful in Taraba State for the 2018 Hajj Operation in Saudi Arabia.

The Executive Secretary, Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board in the State, Alh. Umar Adamu Leme stated this while fielding questions from newsmen in Jalingo on the Board’s preparedness to perform the exercise at the holy land, Saudi Arabia.

Umar Adamu, who further lauded Governor Darius Ishaku for prompt release of fund, said the gesture boosted the morale of the Board.
He said, out of 756 Pilgrims filled by the Board for the journey to the holy land, Taraba State Government sponsored about 246 while 510 were self sponsored.
