2018 Guber Poll: APC’ll take over Ekiti – Party Chieftain, Ogundana

A Chieftain of the All Progressive Congress in Ekiti State Brig. Gen . Ebenezer Ogundana (Rtd) has predicted a land slide victory of the Party during the forthcoming governorship and other futures elections in Ekiti State.

The victory of APC in future elections in the state is not negotiable and it will never be compromised, therefore no stone will be left unturned to achieve success.

Brig. Gen. Ogundana stated this in a release made available to newsmen in Wednesday after attending a ward meeting at his country home Kota Omuo Ekiti in Ekiti East LGA of Ekiti State.

According to him, APC in the state has become more sturdy and the fact that, all stakeholders within the party are working hard to wrestle power from the PDP during the coming governorship election is a good testimony to the development.

“What we are doing now is a total reformation and structural adjustment of our party to confront any opposition party and because of this, no stone will be left unturned to build the party in order to win elections in Ekiti and Nigeria in general”.

Parts of the reformation being embarked upon are; various reconciliation moves of the party members across the board, on-going registration of party members which is first of its kind, harmonious working relationship between party executive, members of the National Assembly and Presidency among others.

It is a known fact and an indisputable argument that,APC has become the party to beat, as a result of bad governance being witnessed in the state at the moment.

The development could be attested to, with more than 40 aspirants jostling for the ticket of the party in the forthcoming governorship election in the state.

The level of impunity of the present administration in the state towards the electorate has no doubt set the people against it. And the resultant effect of it is a blessing to the APC and with the level of preparedness of the party towards the polls, the party will record a land slide victory in all elections.

President Buhari’s palliative measures in every sector to include, infrastructural, welfare package for workers, employment generation especially N-power among others just to mention but a few are some of the good policies of the APC led Federal Government.

And what is paramount to Ekiti people now is a real development and good governance in all the sectors of our economy as being witnessed in some other APC controlled states of the federation. Ekiti state must not be an exception therefore, APC remains only party in the present political dispensation that can develop the state.

The reason Nigerians demanded for a change was unambiguous, PDP government after several years of governance failed Nigerians in all the sectors to include; security, economy, infrastructure, employment and fight against corruption.

Brig. Ogundana assured Ekiti people that, APC will not fail at giving them, a candidate who will rule the state with the fear of God and manage its meagre resources to the best benefit of the people.
