2 Girls Wanted For Jumping Bail After Arrest In Hotel

The Edo State Command of the Nigerian Police has declared two female suspects wanted for jumping bail and failing to appear in court in September 2023 for breaching relevant provisions of the Same-sex Prohibition act 2014.

The two female suspects who are Jessica Okoro and Oni Sinatra Osasumwen have been on the watch list of the Command.

Oni Sinatra Osasumwen and her partner were arrested on May 6th 2023 in a popular hotel by operatives of the Nigerian Police acting on an intelligence report.

An eyewitness at the hotel who craved anonymity, claimed the two girls were arrested in their hotel room while making love with each other as the sacrilegious act attracted other guests who brutally unleased torture on them before operatives of the police took them away to the station.

The eyewitness further disclosed that the police acted on an intelligence report before the arrest was made adding that the girls who are notoriously involved in lesbianism practice had been on the watch list of the police.

Meanwhile, a statement by the Command made available to journalists in Benin City stated that one Oni Sinatra Osasumwen and her partner Jessica Okoro were arrested on May 6th 2023 in a popular hotel .

The statement further added that the girls were caught in the act of same-sex practice ( lesbianism practice) by officers of the Command on a tip off.

It further stated that other guests and customers at the hotel gathered to catch a glimpse of the two girls who were partly naked before they were taken away to the station .

The two girls, who were granted conditional bail, were expected to appear in court in September 2023 on matters bothering on alleged breach of the Same-sex prohibition act 2014 but jumped bail and escaped by refusing to appear on agreed date for hearing on the case, the statement added .

It urged members of the public with any useful information that could lead to the arrest of the fleeing Oni Sinatra Osasumwen and Jessica Okoro to report at the nearest Police station for a handsome reward.
